This piece is a Studio Proof from the creation of the Banksia stencil artwork.

Unlike the finished editions, this artwork is presented exactly as it came out of the studio during the making process. Nothing has been cleaned, corrected, edited or removed.

What you see here is the raw reality of the stencil process, including Overspray marks, Registration lines, Smudges, Alignment notes, Layer testing, the list of Colors used, and Studio markings.

This piece has been left exactly as it emerged during the making process of the 30 layer stencil.  Nothing has been removed or refined. 

It represents the true working state of the artwork inside the studio: something collectors rarely get to see.

The artwork is taken straight from the studio to the framers and presented in a custom made 56 x 67cm solid timber professional frame, Ready to hang.

This is a 100% unique and insiders perspective to the making of the banksia stencil.
